We welcomed a lovely group of colleagues to Studio 164 today for a craft café team-building group experience. The group were from Just Sign Ltd, a Polmont-based company of language professionals working with deaf people in the UK, and they were a lovely bunch of people to have at the studio.
They started their session with a delicious catered food package from a local Italian deli Buon Appetito, before getting stuck in with the crafts. Rhona guided the group through the crafts, with half of the group creating mosaic coasters from a selection of materials including marble, glass and tiles, whilst the other half created glass fused Christmas decorations from glass, frit, paints and powders.
Whilst the group worked away, Lexie and Leo supplied the crafters with a selection of hot drinks from cappuccinos to lattes and teas. It was lovely to see everyone getting stuck in together and seeing all the amazing creations take shape, which were all so pretty, as shown in the pictures below!
