About us

Welcome to Studio 164 Falkirk. Our studio hosts community workshops, exhibitions, meet-ups, pop-ups, and more, providing a hub for creativity and connection in the Falkirk area.

Studio 164 was founded in 2025 and is managed by local visual artist and craftsperson Rhona Duffy. With a passion for traditional arts and crafts, particularly mosaic and glasswork, Rhona is dedicated to supporting both established and emerging artists and makers to develop, share and teach their skills. Rhona has been teaching workshops for over ten years in the local area and beyond, and was looking for a space just like this one in Falkirk. When she couldn’t find one, she decided to create Studio 164.

Studio 164 also encourages people who are new to arts and crafts to get involved through workshops and creative events, welcoming participants from across the local area and beyond.

While Rhona manages and leads promotion on the studio’s core programme of activities, the space is also available to hire for creative workshops, exhibitions and events when not in use.

Studio 164 is a welcoming space for teaching, learning, connection, creativity, and sharing. So whether you’re looking to hold your own event, or you’re interested in trying something new, we invite you to be part of our growing creative community.
